NFL Draft

With the NFL Draft happening this week, it’s a good reminder of one simple truth: Film doesn’t lie. And neither does the weight room. When scouts come to campus, they watch the film first. Not the highlight tapes. Not the stats. The real film. They want to see who shows up when it’s hard. Who plays fast, tough, and physical when it matters most. But the smart ones know to check more than just the film. They ask about the Weight Room. They check the frame you built over the past 4–5 years. The weight room tells a different story. It shows who put in the work when no one was watching. It shows who embraced the gritty parts of the job. It shows who was willing to do the behind-the-scenes work needed to have a long career. You can’t fake strength. You can’t fake durability. You can’t fake the attitude it takes to keep getting better year after year. Talent might get you into the room. Work ethic keeps you there. Film shows the result. The weight room shows the commitment. Remember that when no one is clapping for the extra reps. Remember that when it’s just you, the barbell, and the standard you hold yourself to. Keep the Fire Burning.
