*We have a ton of new subscribers here and I just want to thank you all for finding value in the information I've been providing. Leech Letters is an email every Saturday about whatever is on my mind. No sales pitch here. Let's get into today's letter.* Last season, our team made history. For the first time in 39 years, we brought a CAA Championship to Rhode Island Football. And when the trophy finally got passed around… player after player said the same thing. “Man… this thing is heavy!” You’re damn right it is. Because things that matter carry more weight. Cheap plastic feels light. Easy wins feel hollow. Empty words feel fake. But real achievement? That hits different. That weighs different.
You feel the hours. The strain. The sacrifice. The pain you pushed through to get there. That’s why the CAA trophy weighs 27 pounds (I went upstairs and measured it!). It’s not just metal. It’s a reminder. The weight proves it was earned. And now, we carry that weight with us every day. We carry it on every rep. Every sprint. Every meeting. Every practice. Because it’s not enough to lift it once. We’re chasing the chance to lift it again. So here’s the challenge this week: What weight are you willing to carry? Because the things that matter… they’re suppose to be heavy. Keep the fire burning, Leech
