This week, I want to take a moment to reflect on my email signature: “Keep the Fire Burning.” You’ve seen it at the end of every letter, but it’s more than just a tagline—it’s a reminder, a mantra, and a call to action. Recently, I posted a random collection of motivational quotes and pictures on Instagram, all with the same caption: Keep the Fire Burning. These are the reminders I turn to when motivation dips or when the grind feels relentless. They’re the sparks that keep me moving forward when things get tough. And I encourage everyone to have their own collection of these sparks. It could be a picture, a quote, a note from someone who believes in you. Maybe it’s a phrase that ignites something inside you or a memory of a time you overcame a challenge. These little things matter. They’re your fuel, your reminders of why you started and why you need to keep going. For me, one of those sparks is the collection of notes in my dad’s old journal. Whenever I need a pick-me-up or a reminder of who I am and what I’m capable of, I flip through those pages. His words remind me of the importance of resilience, of consistency, and of pushing forward even when it’s hard. They help me keep the fire burning. The truth is, motivation isn’t always constant. It fades. We all face days where the fire feels dim, where the weight of our responsibilities threatens to snuff it out. That’s why having these reminders nearby is so important. When motivation fades, discipline keeps us moving—but sometimes, a spark is all we need to reignite that flame. So, I challenge you this week: Find your sparks. Collect those quotes, pictures, messages, and memories that inspire you. Keep them close, in your phone, your locker, your workspace—wherever you need them most. When the fire starts to flicker, these reminders can help you keep it alive. Because in the end, the fire inside you is what drives you forward. And it’s up to you to keep it burning. Keep the fire burning, Leech
