Comparison is a bigger problem in 2024 than ever before.

I think a big part of that issue is the way we as a society are now globally connected.

Before the days of Instagram and Facebook, it was easier to compare yourself to those around you. You went to the local gym and could stack up well against the other gym goers in your town. You compared your grades in class against just your classmates. On athletic fields, you only knew the stats of your opponents and maybe a story or two about some national level studs.

Nowadays, it's easy to see just how many people are stronger than you out there. How many athletes have better stats. Who is reaching life milestones on Facebook.

It's alot easier now to feel inferior. To not even bother to try because there are so many people already ahead of you.

Focus on the things you do well. Focus on the process and the actions you can take on a day to day basis. Run your race and you'll be suprised at how much you've succeeded when you reach the finish line.
