Let's Run it Back

I’ve talked about our football team a lot over the past year.

LL47 was about 3 More Feet and winning our first championship in 39 years. LL56 focused on Sustaining Excellence and what that really takes. LL59 defined Championship Effort within our program. LL72 talked about 27lbs , the weight of expectation that comes with trying to repeat. LL81 shared my notes from the summer. LL87 broke down how we get those developmental guys ready to earn a seat on the travel bus.

So yeah, this team has taken up a lot of my time, energy, and focus this past year.

That’s why I have no shame in celebrating another Conference Championship.

These things aren’t easy. They take tremendous effort from everyone to turn goals and statements into reality. And I know I couldn’t have done my part without my two assistants, Noah and Jack. They’ve been rock solid all season. And of course, my wife deserves a thank you for putting up with this wild life that comes with football season.

Moments like this make it worth it.

We’ll refocus, reload, and get ready for a playoff run. But before we do, we'll take the time to celebrate. Reflect on everything it took to get here. The early mornings, the long nights, the setbacks, and the grind.

Because if you don’t pause to appreciate it, you forget how far you’ve come.
