Carry the Boats

I’ll be honest with you, some days, it’s heavy. I don’t always show it. Wouldn’t really help if I did. But that doesn’t mean the weight’s not there. Coaching. Fatherhood. Leadership. Life. It stacks up. And yeah, I’m strong. But I’m not unbreakable. David Goggins says, “Who’s gonna carry the boats?” But what he doesn’t say is that sometimes it’s not just you. Sometimes, it can’t just be you. And that’s why brotherhood matters. Because there will be days when gravity wins. When your grip slips. When the boat starts lowering to your shoulder. And on those days? You better have someone next to you who knows how to lift. Not with words. Not with sympathy. With presence. With action.

And if you want that kind of brother beside you, you need to be that kind of brother now. Pick up the weight when you can. Carry the load for someone else. Check in on your boys. Do more than like a post on social media. Show up. Because there’s no scoreboard for it, but these are the reps that matter. You carry the boat today, so someone’s there when you need it tomorrow. Keep the Fire Burning, Leech
