I'm sick of this BS...

Welcome back to another Leech Letter,

I'm sure most of my S&C followers have seen a reaction video like this one on social media this week.

A low-paying entry-level S&C job gets posted and everyone who isn't in the field puts their two cents in.

"You'll work way more hours than that." "Walmart employees make more per hour." "You can make way more for less hours in the private sector." "These schools should be ashamed." Etc etc etc.

And it's true. Strength coaches deserve more than what some of these positions offer. It's tough to see jobs like this prefer a master's degree. This is a field that demands long hours.

But if you haven't been in a position to make a difference in this field, your opinion doesn't mean very much to me.

I've fought for years to improve the salary of my position and the salaries of my assistants. I know how hard it is to change this field for the better. I've been at the table and fought for my people. And won, might I add.

Some of the grifters chiming in are just using a clickbait hook to drive engagement toward a high ticket "mentorship" that preys on the unpaid and inexperienced.

This field is hard and it takes a while. But I know countless coaches who stayed the course and have built high-paying, balanced careers out of S&C. It's the same in the private sector. Same as a gym owner.

The game rewards the grind. It always has. Guys like me, guys like Nick DiMarco, we'll keep grinding to raise the financial floor of this profession. We'll keep ignoring the scammers, whiners, and complainers who have no skin in the game.

I hope you do the same.

Keep the Fire Burning,

Leech
