The Next Chapter

Do you ever realize you are standing right in the middle of a moment before it ends?

That is where I am right now. We are on the brink of going from a family of three to a family of four.

I’m guilty of letting life catch up to me. This project to do, that program to write, this event to plan for, that event for the family. The calendar is always full and life never slows down.

But man, just for this moment, as my wife is napping on the couch and my son is sleeping in his room, it’s hitting me.

Very soon, the page flips and the next chapter begins, just like that.

I’ve loved everything about this current chapter. The highs have been high and the lows have strengthened me for the more difficult challenges lay ahead.

I guess the lesson or advice this week is step back once in a while and appreciate the chapter of life you’re in and for everything it’s brought you.

I appreciate all the support from you who have believed in me so far and I’m excited to keep pushing as this next chapter begins.
